GSM Mobile Networks - India
Treasuremytext works on the international GSM mobile standard and has some support for US based CDMA networks. Nearly all GSM networks are compatible with Treasuremytext. Check the chart below for details of GSM networks known to be available in your country. Can't see your network here but you're pretty sure it's GSM? We've probably just missed it and it may work anyway so it's still worth a try.

Sending International SMS
The international dialling code of India is +91. The plus symbol is the GSM standard for the international access code. When using a plus the regular international access code (in the U.S. this would be 011) is not nescessary.
Entering a plus symbol on most cellphones is usually done by holding down the zero key for a short period and is normally indicated on the keypad.
International SMS sent from Treasuremytext are charged at 0.05 euro cents and appear from your own registered mobile number. Check with your own operator for costs for sending SMS internationally from your own mobile to this country.
Sending SMS to India from another country
To send SMS to a mobile in India prefix the number with +91 dropping any usual leading zeros.
Sending SMS from India to another country
To send SMS from India to mobiles in another country, prefix the number with a '+' and then the international dialling code of that country. Drop any usual leading zeros from the start of the number.
